Digital 3D sculpture design of a couple in Indian wedding clothing

Wedding photographs capture the whole day. A personalised couple figurine lets you choose one detail to keep in view: the outfits, a favourite pose or the way you stood together.

If you are considering a wedding miniature in Dubai, start with two questions. Do you want it ready before the wedding, or made afterwards from your photographs? And are you buying it for yourselves or as a surprise for another couple?

Those answers help you choose the right process and timing.

Buying before or after the wedding

Before the wedding

You may have an outfit reference or a favourite photograph together, but not a picture of the finished wedding look. Ask what can be made from the references you have and agree the details before ordering.

If the figurine must be ready for the celebration, confirm the arrival date first. Leave room for the agreed approval stage and delivery. A production estimate is not the same as an arrival promise.

After the wedding

You can choose from your wedding photographs and use the actual outfits as references. A clear face photograph may still be needed alongside the full-length picture.

This can also be a thoughtful anniversary project. You are choosing a memory you already know matters to both of you.

Choose between a photo-based design and a scan

A custom figurine from photos starts with reference pictures and a digital 3D design. It is useful when you are buying a surprise or the couple cannot attend an appointment.

A scan-based Mini You figurine requires the person being captured to take part. Ask about the arrangements if you would like the scanning experience to be part of the keepsake.

Our photo-versus-scan comparison explains the questions to ask about each.

Pick the details that tell your story

Choose a small number of priorities rather than expecting every fine detail to survive at miniature scale.

  • The outfit: send a clear reference if a suit, dress or traditional wedding outfit matters to the design.
  • The pose: a relaxed photograph you both love may be a better starting point than an unfamiliar formal pose.
  • A meaningful detail: mention a bouquet or another accessory early, then ask whether it can be included.
  • The display: decide where the figurine will live and check the dimensions of the finished piece and base.

Ask to see relevant completed examples. They are more helpful than a broad promise of “perfect likeness.”

Choose a couple size and composition

The photo-based range lists full-body couple options at approximately 20.3 or 25.4 cm (8 or 10 inches). Half-body couple options are listed at approximately 12.7, 15.2 or 20.3 cm (5, 6 or 8 inches). Ask to see the exact half-body format and confirm whether the measurements include the base.

Check the width as well as the height, particularly for a seated pose. A chair, bench or bouquet shown in an example is not automatically included in every order. Ask about an acrylic display box if you want one quoted for the piece.

These sizes belong to the photo-based range. If you choose scanning, use the dimensions and terms in your separate Mini You quotation.

Review before the piece is made

For the photo-based range, digital design starts after full payment. Review both faces, body shapes, outfits and the pose before final approval. Raise corrections at the design stage; requested changes cannot be made once production has started.

The finished piece is a stylised interpretation, not exact facial replication. See the product page’s likeness explanation and real examples before committing.

A display figurine is not automatically a cake topper

If you want the piece on a wedding cake, say so before ordering. Your supplier and baker need to agree that the item, weight and mounting arrangement are suitable. Do not assume a decorative figurine is intended for contact with food.

You can also display the keepsake beside the cake or at home afterwards, subject to the care instructions for that piece.

What should you budget for?

Request a quote for the complete couple design, not just a one-person starting price. Confirm the chosen size, personal details, approval stage, packaging, delivery and applicable taxes.

Use our figurine pricing checklist to compare the inclusions.

Start with the occasion and the date

Tell us whether you are buying for yourselves or giving the couple a surprise, how many people you want included and when you need the finished gift. Add the delivery city and any references you already have.

You do not need a finished design brief to enquire. The first step is to check a suitable option and get a quote.
